Activity :

Doing correction in my final year report, and continue progress on my technical paper.

The technical paper is finally finish and ready to show to my supervisor. For the report, my progress is continue in finishing the conclusion and checking the format before the submission.

The conclusion content in the report : 

For this project, a prototype was build using an IOT based system with a theft protection system to monitor our energy consumed regularly. Energy crisis is one of the major problems that the world never stop faces today. Every data of power consumption is informed to the user to overcome high bill usage. The fact that high consumption by household appliances is serious. The best solution for this is not the increase in energy production, but the effectiveness using the available energy. To overcome the problem, we produce a prototype that can increase their awareness about power consuming and power theft around their areas.

 

Although there are some issues regarding the material utilized and coding, the project has successfully achieved objectives that been made. The goals that the prototype accomplished:

• The prototype successfully operates with IOT implementation by using the Node MCU ESP8266 within the given time.
• Monitoring power consumed can make in real time was successfully design.
• To detect power theft in the system and notify the user via thing speak.
